Open Access

Open Access

Open Access is an internet publication model that allows free dissemination of research articles to the global community without restriction. These permit users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers. Author(s) retain copyright of their work, but readers are free to reuse the material provided proper citations are given. All Integrity Research Journals articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License. Abstracts, full texts and e-book of all articles published by Integrity Research Journals are freely accessible to everyone immediately after publication.

Open Access model of publication is a change from the usual subscription model that has been in existence over time.  The subscription model (known as Close Access) gives access to few researchers and institutions that can afford the financial obligation. Open Access encourages scientific progress since the published articles are globally available to researchers without financial, legal, geographical, political or technical barriers.

Open Access ensures that articles are free at the point of consumption. Although, an initial fee at the time an article is accepted for publication is applied.  The fee (known as processing fee or publication charges) are usually covered by the authors’ affiliated institution(s), or by the funding body responsible for commissioning the research.
